Industrial Cleaning Technician

Responsibilities

• Enforce all elements of food safety within the plant.
• Maintain upkeep of entrances, floors, utility areas, and storage areas.
• Handle all line clean-ups and documentation for clean-ups.
• Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ensure proper completion of Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) work.
• Read and manage the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Ensure all cleaners are used as per manufacturers’ instructions.
• Dilute bulk cleaning chemicals and use test materials provided by the chemical manufacturer to verify proper dilutions.
• Manage all line clean-ups and inspect line equipment properly.
• Understand and execute changeovers, shutdowns, startups, periodicals, 100% organic, 100% wash, 100% Allergen, and kosher clean-ups.
• Report discrepancies in HACCP Programs, Allergen Program, GMP Findings, Hold Procedures, and other sanitation-related issues to supervisors or the Plant Sanitation Manager.
• Complete Standard of Work (SOW) and any additional assigned tasks.
