Industrial Cleaner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of air duct systems to assess their condition and identify potential issues.
• Remove dust, debris and contaminants from air ducts using specialized tools and equipment, such as vacuums, brushes, and blowers.
• Replaces filters and UV bulbs as well as cleans coils.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure it functions properly.
• Promptly report worn and/or broken equipment to Supervisor.
• Contributes to the culture by exceeding quality expectations through cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior of the production facility.
• Rigorously follows the master cleaning schedule as instructed to prepare the plant to be in audit ready status at all times.
• Works with pre-mixed chemical cleaning agents to clean, sanitize and return production facility to operation.
• Diligently cleans lint, dust, oil, grease, and debris from production facility including machines, overhead pipes, screens and filters.
• Efficiently operates pressure washer, rack washer, floor scrubber, scissor lift, and forklift, according to equipment specifications.
• Thoroughly disassembles, cleans and reassembles equipment and return to operational state for next production run.
• Transports trash and waste to tilt truck and disposal area.
• Maintains cleanliness outside the Bakery facility including silos, front entrance, exterior dock doors, and sewage treatment plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Related experience in bakery or manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of heating, ventilations, air conditioning systems and mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Experience with boom and scissor lifts.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and extreme heat.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; hazardous chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• The temperature in the production area is may be impacted by outside weather conditions.
