About the role
Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Industrial Cleaner. The Industrial Cleaner performs cleaning-related tasks as outlined in the contract between the company and the customer in an industrial environment. The Industrial Cleaner reports any problems or suspicious activity to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
Pay: $15.50 per hour, with weekly pay.
Schedule: Full-time, multiple shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Empty trash and recycling.
- Clean entire restroom by utilizing disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, restock restroom supplies as needed, remove trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, sweep and/or wet mop floors.
- Clean the plant floor and machinery.
- Keep closets clean, neat, and orderly.
- Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial-type position.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance.
