Responsibilities
- Install electrical infrastructure and wiring for industrial refrigeration systems, including high-voltage power circuits and low-voltage control circuits.
- Follow blueprints, specifications, and all applicable electrical codes to ensure proper connections to compressors, condensers, fans, and control panels.
- Wiring and integrating control panels such as MCCs, PLCs, and DDCs, connecting sensors, thermostats, safety devices, and solenoid valves to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems, verifying voltage, grounding, and circuit functionality.
- Interpret technical diagrams and manufacturer manuals, ensuring accurate installation while strictly following all safety protocols and electrical codes.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or 6+ years of on-the-job electrical experience.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes.
- Ability to travel nationwide for projects.
Pay
Competitive pay ranging from $33 to $50 per hour, with tools provided.
Schedule
Typical workdays range from 6 to 10 hours, with assignments requiring up to 100% travel.
