Industrial Air Compressor Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on piston and rotary screw air compressors, multi brand compressors (oil flooded and oil free), and refrigerated/desiccant air dryers.
• Install new equipment when necessary.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and precautions.
• Maintain excellent customer service, resolving concerns and maintaining positive relationships.
• Complete tasks independently and as part of a team in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

• Maintain a low incident MVR and possess a valid driver's license.
• Have at least one year of air compressor experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time for out-of-town work, with per diem and hotel stays covered in case of overnight stays.
• Experience with flatbeds, pickup trucks, and pull-behind trailers.
• Industrial maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written technical information such as manuals or parts' books.
• Show an excellent work ethic and self-motivation.
• Have an excellent attendance record.
• Proven ability to solve problems, analyze processes, and troubleshoot in high-pressure situations.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders, use lifts, and work at elevated heights.
