Job Overview

Nile Basin Initiative Secretariat (Nile-SEC) office in Entebbe seeks an individual consultant to produce a video documentary and high-quality photographs focusing on water pollution control and conservation practices across the Nile Basin countries. The goal is to raise awareness about emerging water quality and pollution control issues and highlight solutions within the context of basin-wide integrated water resources management.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive video documentary that highlights water pollution control and conservation practices in the Nile Basin countries.
• Generate high-resolution photographs showcasing various aspects of water pollution control and conservation efforts.
• Ensure the content aligns with the objectives of Nile Basin Initiative's integrated water resources management framework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from different sectors to gather relevant information and perspectives for the project.

Requirements

• Experience in producing video documentaries and photography related to environmental issues.
• Knowledge of the Nile Basin region and its water resources management challenges.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in environmental communications or similar field.
• Proven track record in producing high-quality video content and photography.
