About the role
The Tax Analyst will report to the Manager of Indirect Tax and Technology and will play a vital role in the global indirect tax workspace. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of the global indirect tax compliance process, including sales, use, and property taxes. Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills, an eagerness to learn, and self-starting drive are essential.
Responsibilities
- Fully support the global indirect tax compliance lifecycle, including coordination with third-party service providers.
- Prepare reconciliation of all sales, use, and property tax accounts.
- Resolve indirect tax-related notices from various tax jurisdictions with guidance.
- Support sales and property tax audits, working closely with internal departments, location personnel, and external consultants.
- Conduct preliminary tax research using available tax research tools.
- Support internal requests to resolve tax-related customer inquiries and business unit procurement processes.
- Review, validate, and support management of exemption certificates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Up to three years of experience in sales and property taxes with multi-jurisdictional exposure.
- VAT tax compliance experience a plus.
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance software and ERP systems; Vertex and SAP preferred.
- Process improvement/continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
