Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager to join the team of a leader in the Transportation space. This role will lead indirect sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and procurement governance across a multi-site operations environment. The ideal candidate will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to drive cost savings, strengthen supplier performance, and improve procurement processes. This position also includes team leadership, executive visibility, and a focus on continuous improvement in support of operational goals.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals
• Drive enterprise indirect sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations
• Establish procurement policies, procedures, and governance standards
• Own supplier relationship management and executive business reviews
• Deliver annual cost savings and operational improvement targets
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Engineering, HR, IT, and business leaders
• Monitor supplier performance, risk, quality, and delivery metrics
• Provide executive reporting and procurement KPI dashboards
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Lead continuous improvement and digital procurement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience
• 2+ years of people leadership experience
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration skills
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations
