Indirect Procurement Manager

This position will have direct accountability for indirect spend across Winland sites in the United States and Canada. Reporting to the Director of Indirect Procurement, the role is responsible for strategic sourcing activities for Winland’s Indirect Materials and Services spend, with the goal of achieving significant cost reductions while maintaining or improving product quality and vendor service levels.

Remote Monday and Friday; in office Tuesday to Thursday

Location

Oak Brook, IL location preferred; remote locations will be considered.

Pay

$93k to $138k annually with additional bonus potential, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and executes activities related to procurement of indirect materials and services, from intent to purchase through to delivery of project
• Manages vendor selection and negotiation process for indirect vendors
• Identifies, selects, and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a competitive price while meeting Winland’s Supplier Code of Conduct
• Prepares and reviews proposal requests, contracts, bids, and agreements for correctness of terms and prices, and acceptability of specifications
• Communicates actively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and performance management of the category
• Ensures categories are contracted in line with the sourcing strategy
• Directly solves operational issues with indirect vendors
• Reviews and resolves indirect vendor claims and contracts for conformance
• Prepares and issues purchase contracts and change notices
• Ensures alignment with Procurement strategies and ways of working (where applicable)
• Understands the impact of long-term running cost and the engagement of business to minimize costs at an early stage
• Determines and implements KPIs that can be used to measure Indirect spend performance

Requirements

• Experience analyzing and improving complex supply chain data, information, and processes
• High-level understanding of all aspects of indirect supply chain processes
