About the role
The IT Sourcing Manager will play a crucial role in sourcing information technology systems and software, driving cost savings and optimizing supplier performance while meeting business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT systems and software, to drive cost savings and optimize supplier performance, while meeting business needs
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT suppliers and service providers, monitoring risk and contractual obligations and ensuring alignment with business objectives and contractual obligations
- Lead the end-to-end IT sourcing process, including identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conducting RFPs and RFQs, negotiating pricing and contracts, and finalizing agreements to provide the best overall value to the business
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, human resources, finance, legal, and other departments, to understand their requirements, provide strategic guidance and support, and ensure alignment
- Utilize market trends, industry developments, data and analytics to analyze supplier performance, track cost savings, and make data-driven decisions
- Manage sourcing activities across other non-IT categories as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sourcing and procurement, with a proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor management
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and software, including MS Teams, SAP, and other relevant technologies
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Self-sufficient, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and time zones
- Occasional travel may be required
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Bilingual – Spanish and English is a plus
