Indirect Funder I- Fort Worth

About the role

EECU is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Indirect Funder I to ensure dealer contracts meet both internal and state regulations. You will verify interest rates, loan terms, and original approvals while collaborating closely with dealerships to correct and finalize contracts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment and enjoys hands-on work with dealers.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify all documents in dealer loan packages for EECU and state compliance.
• Work with dealerships to correct contracts that fall outside of guidelines.
• Confirm the presence and accuracy of all state-mandated forms.
• Calculate dealer reserves and chargebacks with precision and transparency.
• Collaborate with dealers to resolve reserve discrepancies and obtain necessary corrections.
• Provide detailed, audit-ready documentation to management and state examiners for lien perfections, chargebacks, and reserve payments.
• Ensure EECU’s lien is recorded within state-mandated timeframes.
• Fund dealer contracts within 24 hours if packets meet guidelines.
• Use multiple systems to update and finalize approved funded loan packets.
• Fund an average of 1,900 contracts per month.
• Maintain regular attendance as an essential function of the position.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Reg B, Reg Z, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, and more.
• Attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.

Requirements

• Indirect auto lending background.
• Analytical skills and computer proficiency.
• Knowledge of credit union operations.
• Strong decision-making ability and judgment.
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to handle a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Effective communication skills to work with dealers and obtain completed loan packets in a timely manner.
• 1+ years of experience in banking/financial industry.
• 1+ years in an indirect auto lending program.
• College degree preferred but not required.

EECU will evaluate an applicant’s credit history in compliance with applicable laws. Only applicants with good credit history will be considered. A background check including employment, criminal, and drug screening will be required if offered a position.

Schedule

Typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional overtime and Saturdays as needed.
