About the role

Ellie Mental Health is a mental health practice in Charlotte, NC, offering individual, family, couples, and group therapy services. We are seeking therapists to work with children (7+), teens, and families, with some adult clients included in the caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intakes/initial assessments and provide ongoing therapy to kids (7+), teens, and families as well as adults
  • Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 27 client visits per week
  • Maintain appropriate clinical documentation, including treatment plans
  • Work with billing dept to maintain clean accounts for clients
  • Cookordination services with case managers, other providers, and school staff as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service for clients
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings and mandatory trainings
  • Aid in the selection and onboarding of new therapists
  • Show up in our community! Engage in networking/social, outreach, and community-based events to reduce mental health stigma and promote Ellie in the Charlotte community
  • Be excellent to each other! You will play a critical role in maintaining a peaceful & happy work environment

Requirements

  • Candidates must be independently licensed as a LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT in the state of NC
  • Clinicians with supervisory credentials are strongly encouraged to apply
  • (Additional supervision pay for supervision sessions)
  • Out of state candidates must be within 30 days of receiving reciprocity in NC
  • Demonstrable experience in working with children (7+), teens, and families
  • Experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficiency with using EHR's
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate adaptability and solution-oriented thinking
  • Ability to work independently

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of insurance billing
  • Knowledge of community resources and willingness to learn about and engage with Ellie's preferred providers
  • Proficiency with Office 365
  • Current or previous credentialing with insurance panels is preferable but not required
  • LGBTQIA+ and/or First Responder/Veteran experience will be given priority

Pay

$65,000.00 - $91,100.00 per year

Schedule

This position is located in greater Charlotte, NC (Southpark, Blakeney) with an expected start date of late June 2026 (partially dependent on credentialing process)
