Independent Wound Care Sales Rep, Medical Device (contract 1099)

About the Role

Piomic Medical is seeking independent wound care sales representatives and sales groups for all U.S. territories on a contract (1099-based) basis. This is a commission-only role with exclusive, protected territories and no pre-identified house accounts.

The company’s core technology, COMS® One therapy, is a proprietary platform delivering concurrent optical and magnetic stimulation to promote healing of chronic ulcers. COMS® is intuitive, aligns with established wound care workflows, and received CE Mark Approval in 2020. It is currently used in Europe to treat lower extremity ulcers of various etiologies. Piomic is preparing to enter the U.S. market following the MAVERICKS multicenter clinical trial for therapy-refractory diabetic foot ulcers, an FDA Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) study designed to generate high-level evidence-based data.

Additional technologies are in the R&D and clinical pipeline, expanding future sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of COMS® One therapy and future Piomic Medical devices in assigned U.S. territories.
• Target key call points, including:
  • Outpatient wound care centers (HOPD)
  • Veterans Administration Medical Centers (VAMC)
  • Physician practices

Requirements

• Proven experience selling billable medical devices in the wound healing space.
• Sales reps with current or prior skin substitute/CTP product lines in their portfolio are especially encouraged.
• Existing relationships with local or regional medical supply distributors (DME) or sales into skilled nursing facilities (SNF) are high-value bonus credentials.
