SpringPath Mental Health Services, part of the Sevita family, provides behavioral health services through Intensive Residential Treatment, Assertive Community Treatment, and Targeted Case Management programs. The ILS Overnight Coach works as part of an Intensive Residential Treatment Services team that provides care, treatment, and rehabilitation for persons served who are experiencing significant mental health/psychiatric symptoms, demonstrating significant functional impairments, and who may have co-occurring disorders. This is an awake overnight position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to person(s) served to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being.
  • Interact frequently and positively with person(s) served and support staff to promote the rights of the person(s) served and achieve an enhanced quality of life.
  • Assist Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioners with requested needs.
  • Follow agency procedures to promote optimum healthcare, safety practices, and behavioral supports to maintain the well-being of person(s) served.
  • Perform administrative duties (scanning, faxing, organizing).
  • Oversee meal preparation in the morning.
  • Complete cleaning tasks, including preparing a room for new admissions.
  • Provide transportation for people served.
  • Provide group and individual services for clients.
  • Teach clients independent living skills.
  • Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with various teams.
  • Provide necessary financial management for the day-to-day operations of the program using established practices and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with training, licensing regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  • Administer and monitor medication.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform overnight duties from the cleaning checklist.
  • Adhere to the practice of maintaining a therapeutic environment, including preventing crises at the lowest level of escalation.
  • Develop and participate in community and in-house recreational and leisure activities, as conducive to schedule.
  • Complete all documentation as required to ensure quality services.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma with 2,000 supervised hours in the delivery of services to adults with serious mental illness.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Travel as needed.

Physical Requirements

Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Pay

$21.50 per hour
