About the role

Perspectives Counseling Centers, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our team in Novi, MI. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population
  • Treat patients for mental health conditions using various approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Form excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
  • Clear, active and unrestricted license (LMSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of MI
  • 2+ years of professional experience post master's degree providing behavioral health services
  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
  • Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include experience working with diverse patient populations and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 - $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
