Job Summary

Now Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated distribution route within our established South Bend, IN operation. This is a consistent, high-revenue opportunity requiring a Large SUV or Minivan.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure cargo is picked up and delivered to valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier’s reputation for reliability and punctuality.
  • Route Mastery: Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS or mapping software, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers professionally and handle questions or issues with empathy.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Quickly adapt to challenges like traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth deliveries.

Route Details & Schedule

  • Compensation: Guaranteed $185 per day, average weekly commission: $925.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, Start/End Time: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Vehicle: Large SUV or Minivan, Weekly Mileage: Approximately 1,300 miles, Daily Stops: Approximately 40.
  • Geographical Area: South Bend, Lakeville, LaPaz, Bremen, Etna Green, North Liberty, North Judson, Plymouth, Knox, Culver, Monterey, Kewanna, Star City, Winamac.

Requirements

  • Vehicle: Large SUV or Minivan, 2016 model year or newer, capable of passing a multi-point inspection and suitable for delivery.
  • Licensing & Insurance: Valid driver’s license, commercial insurance with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Successful completion of a Driving History Review, Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening.
