Independent Contracted Driver

About the role

Mancini's Bakery is seeking delivery drivers as Independent Contractors or through a 3rd-party contract. Drivers are responsible for safe driving, accurate deliveries, and timely service. You will verify shipments, load and unload goods, and maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers. The role requires strong money-handling skills, a sales mindset, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the correct amount of product to each destination/customer
• Verify shipments and load/unload goods for transport
• Communicate effectively with central dispatch and customers
• Handle payments and provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

• Must own or be willing to purchase a personal truck/van (not a pickup truck or minivan)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle check
• Prior delivery driver experience (not gig apps like DoorDash or Uber Eats)
• Reliable transportation that meets Company standards
• Ability to obtain required insurance per contract
• Proficiency with GPS and navigation tools
• Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Pay

$4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month (commission-based)
