Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and/or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints for advanced products (ex. Xcede, Firefly, RF), supplier datasheets, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures required.
- Disposition materials with details regarding accept/reject status.
- Use various systems to record inspection measurements and record product non-conformances.
Required Experience
- One year of previous inspection experience.
- Computer literate and have a working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with Samtec systems such as: Lablynx, QP Suite, GD&T, Print Vu, etc.
- Experience with and comprehension of component tooling drawings.
Lifting Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
Minimum Score of 50 on the Mechanical Aptitude Test
- Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Training Required
On the job training as appropriate.
