About the role
The Inclusion Paraprofessional will support students with disabilities in a Richmond High setting.
Responsibilities
- Supports students with disabilities in accessing educational opportunities
- Assists in creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Collaborates with teachers and other staff to implement individualized education plans
- Participates in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Ability to use assistive technology
