Incident Response Analyst

About the role

Join the global cyber-security incident-response team and support security operations during US business hours. You will investigate incidents, analyze threats, perform forensic analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve security posture.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents
• Monitor logs and alerts; perform threat analysis
• Investigate malware, unauthorized access, and other cyber-attacks
• Conduct forensic investigations and root-cause analysis
• Triage security events and determine escalation paths
• Monitor and analyze events using SIEM and other security tools
• Improve detection rules, operational procedures, and playbooks
• Support creation of security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with compliance, audit, and risk-management teams
• Create security and threat-analysis reports
• Research latest threat trends and vulnerabilities
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber-Security, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cyber-security or information security
• Experience in incident response, SOC, or threat analysis
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
• Experience with security operations in cloud environments
• Strong log-analysis and correlation skills
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Project-management skills to handle multiple initiatives concurrently

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or SANS certifications
• Experience in incident response and digital forensics
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other security frameworks
• Security experience in financial or regulated industries

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 PM Pacific Time (fixed schedule)

Pay

$90,000 – $120,000 per year plus benefits

Location: Tempe, Arizona (on-site)
