About the role
Join the global cyber-security incident-response team and support security operations during US business hours. You will investigate incidents, analyze threats, perform forensic analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve security posture.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents
- Monitor logs and alerts; perform threat analysis
- Investigate malware, unauthorized access, and other cyber-attacks
- Conduct forensic investigations and root-cause analysis
- Triage security events and determine escalation paths
- Monitor and analyze events using SIEM and other security tools
- Improve detection rules, operational procedures, and playbooks
- Support creation of security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with compliance, audit, and risk-management teams
- Create security and threat-analysis reports
- Research latest threat trends and vulnerabilities
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber-Security, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cyber-security or information security
- Experience in incident response, SOC, or threat analysis
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
- Experience with security operations in cloud environments
- Strong log-analysis and correlation skills
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Project-management skills to handle multiple initiatives concurrently
Preferred Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or SANS certifications
- Experience in incident response and digital forensics
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other security frameworks
- Security experience in financial or regulated industries
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 PM Pacific Time (fixed schedule)
Pay
$90,000 – $120,000 per year plus benefits
Location: Tempe, Arizona (on-site)
