About the Role

We partner with the world's leading AI research teams to build and evaluate cutting-edge AI systems. We're looking for experienced incident response professionals to help train and validate AI models designed to support real-world digital investigations and security operations.

Your expertise will directly shape how AI understands and responds to security threats — making a meaningful impact on the next generation of cybersecurity tools.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases to evaluate AI-generated responses
  • Assess impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation paths for simulated and real-world scenarios
  • Review and validate detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks
  • Verify that AI-generated incident analysis accurately reflects how real security operations teams think and work
  • Provide structured, expert feedback to help AI systems improve their threat reasoning and response quality

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations
  • Comfortable working with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling
  • Skilled at distinguishing meaningful threats from background noise
  • Able to communicate technical findings clearly in writing
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or red/blue team operations
  • Familiarity with cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Background in writing or reviewing detection rules and incident playbooks
  • Prior experience with AI evaluation or data annotation workflows

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems built for real-world cybersecurity use cases
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule
  • Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with global security experts
  • Contribute to meaningful work that shapes how AI handles cybersecurity challenges
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
