Inbound Supervisor - A shift

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage labor resources and equipment within the inbound operation.
• Ensure on-time completion of inbound activities while maintaining accuracy and quality to meet customer requirements.
• Partner with the Control Tower team to coordinate labor allocation and prioritize inbound shipments.
• Oversee direct ocean container inbounds, LTL shipments, and building-to-building transfers.
• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of all inbound employees.
• Manage the receiving and transferring of materials.
• Hire, train, and develop new employees within the inbound department.
• Ensure all inbound procedures are accurate, up to date, and properly documented for the Control Tower and applicable customers.
• Lead performance management for employees using established KPI metrics.
• Maintain and update operational procedures and quality processes.
• Maintain and update operational procedures and quality processes.
• Monitor and maintain adequate supplies and equipment for departmental needs.
• Adhere to customer-specific and vendor-specific receiving requirements.
• Update and maintain UKG and Excel-based metrics as they relate to WMS reporting.
• Monitor all receiving functions on the floor to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Verify completion of all end-of-shift receiving system tasks and ensure full floor close-out procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience or equivalent leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in an SAP and/or WMS environment.
• Experience with inventory research and problem-solving.

Pay

Pay. 401(k) with company matching up to 6%.

Schedule

A-shift - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, and every other Saturday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm - some overtime is required
