Inbound/Outbound Coordinator

About the Role

As an Inbound Outbound Coordinator, you will play a vital role in keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly and to the highest standards. You will oversee inbound and outbound processes to ensure products move efficiently through the facility while meeting all company quality, food safety, and GFSI requirements. Responsibilities

• Check and record unit temp set point on all incoming and outgoing trailers.
• Check and record trailer condition (damage, cleanliness, odors, etc.) on all incoming and outgoing trailers.
• Check inside trailer temperature at time of trailer receiving.
• Check trailer inside temperature prior to loading all outbound trailers. All outbound trailers are to be pre-cooled to °F prior to loading.
• Perform product checks including non-destructive temperature checks on packaged products and internal product temperature checks on fresh bulk packed products.
• Check case weights on incoming products.
• Check labels on incoming products and validate against spec.
• Confirm units are set to either summer temp (24°F April 1st – October 31st) or winter temp (28°F November 1st – March 31st) settings.
• Ensure there are no crushed or collapsed cases.
• Ensure proper case and label.
• Ensure there are no incorrect cases and no broken pallets.
• Check for proper shrink wrap and ensure all combo products are shrink wrapped to the pallet with no tears.
• Inspect all fresh product – no leaks, wet cases, or stained cases.
• Ensure there is no dirt or debris on cases or combos.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of transportation.
• Solid reading, writing, math, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

• Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
• Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
• May handle products at 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit and noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
• May be exposed to dust, feathers, and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
• Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors (10ppm) and chlorine (less than 20 ppm).
• Able to stand for several hours.
• Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.

Pay

This position has a target wage of $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on shift, experience, and qualifications, with an annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.
