In-Town Driver

Location: Springfield, MO | Full-Time

About the role

Creative Modular Construction (CMC) is seeking dependable In-Town Drivers to transport manufactured components between our facilities in the Springfield area. This role plays an important part in keeping production moving efficiently across our local CMC locations. Drivers will operate a company truck while pulling a trailer to move modular construction parts, materials, and assemblies between plants and storage areas. All driving is local within the Springfield area, so there is no long-haul travel required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company truck with an attached trailer
• Transport manufactured parts and building components between CMC facilities
• Secure loads to ensure safe transport of materials
• Perform basic vehicle and trailer inspections before and after trips
• Coordinate with plant teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Follow company safety procedures and traffic regulations

Requirements

• Valid Class E Driver’s License required
• Experience pulling trailers preferred
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and maintain delivery schedules
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
