In-Store Shopper - Part Time

About the role

As an In-Store Shopper on the Store Support team, you’ll support Prime Now customer orders by preparing them for delivery and/or pickup. You’ll shop throughout the store for everyday goods including food, household items, and more. This is a fast-growing program ideal for candidates passionate about quality products and great customer service.

Schedule

• Schedules are provided up to 3 weeks in advance
• Average shifts are 4-8 hours long
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, especially Saturday and Sunday (busiest times)
• Flexible scheduling is key to meeting customer needs

Responsibilities

• Fulfill online orders efficiently, accurately, and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology
• Maintain attention to product and order accuracy
• Learn product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter
• Work in other store departments as required (e.g., customer service, cashier, grocery)

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to read and speak basic English
• Comfort using handheld technology (mobile devices)
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand/walk for at least 6 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours, sitting 1-4 hours
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
• Exposure to temperatures: <32°F (freezing), 32-40°F (refrigerators), >90°F
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
• May require use of ladders

Pay

The wage range for this position is $18.00–$25.40 per hour.
