In-Store Sales Associate

About the role

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a dynamic in-store sales representative to join their team in Carson City, NV. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service or counter sales, with experience in an industrial setting preferred. Knowledge of welding equipment and supplies is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Takes phone orders, addresses inquiries, tracks order status and shipments, and solves customer issues
• Assesses and recommends products while promoting additional sales of hard goods and gases to achieve target margins
• Conducts product demonstrations for customers using customer insight to drive and guide the development of new offerings
• Works closely with, and provides, sales support to the Outside Sales team
• Maintains customer records and files, including accurate account setup and pricing
• Performs warehouse duties and moves cylinders for customers as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer Service or Counter Sales experience
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• Effective communication and active listening skills

Pay

$21.00 - $30.00 hourly (depending on experience)
