In-Store Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service activities, including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracing order status or product shipments
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
• Promote add‑on sales of gases and high‑margin hard‑goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in‑store sales representative
• Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small ‘B’ customers
• Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• More than one year of customer service, inside sales, or counter sales experience (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol‑related driving convictions within the last ten years
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Pay

Pay range: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
