In-Store Sales Associate

About the role

As an In-Store Sales Associate, you will perform customer service activities, support sales efforts, and conduct warehouse duties in our retail store.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter telephone orders, answer customer questions, resolve challenges, and trace order status or product shipments
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
• Promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories, and conduct product demonstrations
• Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers
• Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins
• Occasionally support additional store locations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year(s) of Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Counter Sales experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related driving convictions within the last ten (10) years
• Able to lift 50 lbs

Pay

$21.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
