In-Store Sales Associate

About the role

You will perform customer service activities, including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracing order status or product shipments. Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store. Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers. Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team is part of your role. Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs. Promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative. Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing. Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
• Promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative
• Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers
• Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations

Requirements

You have a high school diploma / GED. More than one year (1+) of Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales is preferred. Excellent customer service skills are necessary for success in this role.

Qualifications

You do not have a DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years.

Customer service skills, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational and time management skills, computer literacy, and the ability to learn new products and services quickly.

Pay

Pay range: $22.91 - $33.61 hourly
