About the role
At Upchurch Services, the Service In-Plant Industrial Electrician - Food Production is a trusted partner responsible for protecting the customer's production capability, supporting food safety objectives, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of critical facility assets.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems supporting food production operations.
- Serve as a dedicated onsite resource within a customer facility, ensuring reliable installation and repair of electrical systems hardware, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on motor controls, power distribution systems, PLC-based controls, instrumentation, and facility electrical infrastructure.
- Apply diagnostic abilities, electrical safety expertise, and a customer-focused approach to facility support.
- Represent Upchurch Services through professional communication with the Foreman and customer maintenance, operations, engineering, quality assurance, and safety personnel.
Requirements
- Technical school, trade school, apprenticeship, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
- Experience in food processing, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or industrial facilities strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License/LLE
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- NFPA 70E Training
- Industrial Maintenance Certifications
