About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, diligent, and computer-savvy Sales Assistant to join our team in Huntersville, NC.
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will support the Sales Manager with invoicing, scheduling, proposal preparation, client communication, and general administrative tasks as assigned.
This position requires a proactive individual who takes pride in accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)
- Experience with Tripleseat or other event management software preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the food and beverage (F&B) industry is a plus
Responsibilities
- Invoicing: Generate and manage client invoices under the direction of the Sales Manager, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Follow up on outstanding payments when necessary.
- Scheduling: Assist with scheduling client meetings, venue visits, travel, and other business-related appointments.
- Proposal Preparation: Help create event proposals, including budgeting, cost estimates, and creative concepts.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular, professional communication with clients to answer inquiries, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of client information, contracts, and event details. Utilize computer skills to effectively manage databases and spreadsheets.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the Sales Manager, including document preparation, filing, and coordinating office needs.
