In-Person Fitness Instructor - PRN

Service Operations

• Instruct regularly scheduled group fitness classes.
• Instruct at various intensity levels for participants of varying skill levels.

Administrative

• Start class on time.
• For onsite classes, arrive early to set up the mic/sound system and your station with all necessary equipment.
• For virtual classes, login early to confirm connectivity, video and sound and set up your station with all necessary equipment.
• Ensure the setting is appropriate (i.e., spacious, uncluttered, well lit, professional).
• Elevate concerns to your Health Fitness or FOH Manager.

Customer Service

• Manage customer/agency complaints professionally.
• Elevate concerns to your Health Fitness or FOH Manager.

Required Skills

• Demonstrate proficiency in group fitness instruction.
• Possess excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.

Required Experience

• National certification in group fitness if teaching general classes such as strength, cardiovascular, and core classes.
• National certification in specialty format if teaching classes such as Cycle, Zumba, Les Mills formats, Yoga, and Pilates with preferred additional national certification in group fitness.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in group fitness instruction for specialty formats preferred.
• Current CPR/AED certification when teaching on-site classes.

Pay

Starting at $35/hour
