About the role
LTC Language Solutions is seeking an English instructor for face-to-face tutoring.
Responsibilities
- Tutor an adult student in West Monroe, LA.
- Teach English classes two times a week, 90 minutes each, on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
- Start on July 14, 2026, with up to 20 hours of instruction.
- Focus on basic everyday communication, understanding and participation in longer conversations, and independence in real-life situations such as shopping, appointments, healthcare interactions, and social conversations.
- Include role-plays, listening practice, and pronunciation support.
Requirements
- English speaker with at least 2+ years of experience teaching adults.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt curriculum based on student needs.
- Experience with adult education and language learning.
