About the role
This role involves providing OB hospitalist coverage at a facility with a focus on delivering high-quality maternal and gynecological care.
Responsibilities
- Managing 24-hour physician shifts from 7a-7p and 21-hour CNM shifts from 9a-6a
- Performing emergent GYN care, circumcisions, and serving as a first assist in surgeries
- Supporting delivery and outpatient services
- Ensuring consistent care
- Expanding access and reducing wait times for OB and Well-Woman visits
- Increasing GYN surgical opportunities
Qualifications
- Experience in OB/GYN procedures
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to collaborate with onsite MFM and anesthesia teams
- Adaptable and team-oriented
- Proficient in Epic EMR
