Responsibilities Advise leadership and facility teams on regulatory, licensing and compliance mattersManage litigation and claims and coordinate with outside counselDraft and negotiate contracts, leases, vendor and payer agreementsSupport survey responses, CDPH matters and corporate transactionsDevelop policies and train staff on legal and compliance topics Qualifications JD and active California Bar membership in good standing5+ years of legal experience; healthcare, long-term care or SNF experience strongly preferredKnowledge of CMS, CDPH, HIPAA and elder care regulationsExcellent judgment, writing and negotiation skillsAble to work independently as a trusted advisor to leadership As our In House Counsel, you will have the support of an experienced leadership team.
