In-Home Therapist

About the role

Responsible for providing support services to children, youth, and families in a home or community setting. Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support services to children, youth, and families.
• Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans based on identified needs.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Document client interactions and progress in accordance with agency policies.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a home or community setting.
• Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Basic computer literacy.
