About the role
Responsible for providing support services to children, youth, and families in a home or community setting. Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support services to children, youth, and families.
- Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans based on identified needs.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Document client interactions and progress in accordance with agency policies.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a home or community setting.
- Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Basic computer literacy.
