In-Home Therapist

About the role

Provides support services to children, youth, and families in a home or community setting. Works with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document client needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions
• Coordinate with other professionals and family members
• Document progress and communicate with clients and families

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting
• At least 2 years of experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of child development and behavior
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care

Pay

$30-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with some evening and weekend availability as needed.
