In-home Sales Representative - Detroit

About the role

Renewal by Andersen (RbA) is seeking a Design Consultant for its Detroit market. In this role you will conduct in‑home sales consultations (about 90 minutes each) for window, patio door and entry door replacements, using an iPad and augmented reality to design solutions. You will follow the Renewal sales process, submit contracts, drive your personal vehicle to appointments, and participate in sales meetings and technical measurement/installation support. New hires start as non‑exempt Design Consultant Trainees in a 10‑week paid training program ($25/hour) before moving to the full Design Consultant role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑home sales consultations, leveraging an iPad and augmented reality to design window and door replacement solutions.
• Follow established Renewal Sales and measurement processes through to completion, submitting contracts and paperwork for each project.
• Drive personal vehicle and sit for long periods, covering 1,800‑2,500 miles per month to and from appointments.
• Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, trainings, and branch meetings.
• Attend technical measurement appointments/installations, support the sales project process (documentation, follow‑through, order changes, discounting guidelines, homeowner contact).
• Use required company‑designated software, systems, and technology tools, complying with usage, security, and confidentiality policies.
