About the role
ExpertCare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and helpful In-Home Respite Workers to support, encourage, and help with skill building activities for our Community of Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes
- Support and encourage Recipients in their daily lives
- Help Recipients build new skills through various activities
- Bring Recipients into the community to achieve their personal goals
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and follow care plans
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Pass required background checks and screenings
- Must be 18 years or older
