About the role
Little Spurs Autism Centers is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support services to children with autism spectrum disorder. We seek individuals who are committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized therapy sessions based on each child's unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and address challenges.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as special education, psychology, or a related area.
- Experience working with children with autism or similar developmental disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for supporting the growth and development of children.
Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for autism.
- Proficiency in using specialized software and tools for therapy.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
