In Home Personal Aide

About the role

Visiting Angels of Hurst is hiring an In Home Personal Aide to support clients throughout the HEB area, including Hurst, Bedford, Euless, East Fort Worth, North Fort Worth, Haltom City, Watauga, Richland Hills, and surrounding communities. This role offers flexibility, professional growth, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of senior adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Prompt clients to take prescription medications on schedule
• Help clients with grocery shopping and putting away groceries
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients based on their abilities
• Assist clients with mobility and ambulation, including transportation to appointments and walks
• Act quickly and report any health changes or unusual circumstances in medical emergencies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent time-management skills
• Reliable transportation to client visits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Compassion for vulnerable individuals and a desire for meaningful companionship
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
