In Home Personal Aide

About the Role

Visiting Angels of Lowell is hiring an In Home Personal Aide to support senior adults in their homes across the local area, including Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, Bella Vista, and surrounding communities. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Manage light housekeeping tasks
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals
• Prompt clients to take prescription medications on schedule
• Assist with grocery shopping and meal planning/preparation based on client ability
• Support clients with mobility and ambulation, including doctor visits and walks
• Act quickly and appropriately during medical emergencies
• Report any health changes or unusual circumstances to the appropriate parties

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent time-management skills
• Reliable transportation to client visits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Training or knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
• Compassion for vulnerable individuals and a desire to provide meaningful companionship
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards

Pay

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
