About the role
Visiting Angels of Marble Falls is hiring an In Home Personal Aide to support clients throughout the Highland Lakes area, including Llano, Marble Falls, Mason, Burnet, Kingsland, Buchanan Dam, and surrounding communities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Encourage and support clients in meeting exercise and fitness goals
- Prompt clients to take prescription medications as scheduled
- Assist with grocery shopping and putting away groceries
- Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients based on their abilities
- Provide mobility and ambulation assistance, including transportation to appointments and walks
- Act promptly and report any health changes or unusual circumstances in medical emergencies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training or knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
- Compassion for vulnerable individuals seeking meaningful companionship
- Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
