As a Visiting Angels In‑Home Patient Care Assistant (PCA), you’ll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license.
• Physical endurance for tasks such as carrying groceries and transferring a client.
• Comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary requirements.
• Willingness and ability to comply with state and office‑specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

Pay

$16.00‑$19.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Day shift.
• Evening shift.
• Every weekend.
• Monday to Friday.
• Weekend availability.
