In Home Nursing LPN - Feeding Tube Children (Various Patients)

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide care to two patients at home. The first patient is on a Sunday-Friday schedule from 8:00am-5:00pm and is located in Cumming, 30041, with a toddler acuity level. The second patient is on a Friday 11:30am-7:00pm schedule and is located in Cumming, 30028, with a child acuity level.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients in their homes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to healthcare providers.
• Document patient care activities electronically using tablets provided in the patient's home.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during daily activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required (one year required in Georgia).
• Reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Pass TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• One year of hands-on nursing experience in Georgia preferred.
