About the Role
As a Visiting Angels In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness according to their custom care plans. Duties may include:
- Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
- Planning and preparing meals with clients
- Handling light housekeeping duties
- Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
- Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
- Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
- Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips
- Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
- Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands
Responsibilities
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Physical endurance for tasks like carrying groceries and supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints
- Compliance with state and office-specific health and safety standards
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the client's day
Requirements
