Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families across San Francisco, Millbrae, Pacifica, San Bruno, Brisbane, and Daly City, California. This role offers the opportunity to practice medicine without the constraints of a waiting room, double-booked columns, or corporate production dashboards—just you, a loving family, and the time to do it right.

About the role
The veterinarians who thrive in this work are those who excel at having hard conversations. Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets
- Work independently in a mobile environment
- Maintain rotational weekend availability
- Lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Exude compassion, dignity, and respect to all clients and families
- Communicate professionally with the team and pet families
Requirements
- DVM, VMD, or BVMS degree
- Valid driver’s license
