Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families across Omaha, Waterloo, Ralston, Boys Town (Nebraska), and Council Bluffs, IA. This role offers the opportunity to practice medicine without a waiting room, double-booked schedules, or corporate production metrics—just you, a loving family, and the time to provide care the right way.
We are a privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led veterinary practice with no non-compete contracts. Your career remains yours, free from restrictive clauses.

Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets
- Work independently in a mobile environment
- Demonstrate compassion, dignity, and respect in all interactions
- Maintain professional communication with team members and families
- Lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Available for rotational weekend shifts
Requirements
- DVM, VMD, or BVMS degree
- Valid driver’s license
