Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families across Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, and Sun Lakes, Arizona. Practice medicine without a waiting room, double-booked columns, or corporate production dashboards—just you, a family who loves their pet, and the time to do it right.

About the Role
The veterinarians who thrive in this work are those who excel at hard conversations. This role is ideal for experienced doctors looking to step away from the pace of general or emergency practice without leaving medicine, as well as for those returning from a break or building a schedule around family.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets
- Work independently in a mobile environment
- Maintain rotational weekend availability
- Lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Exude compassion, dignity, and respect to all clients and families
- Communicate professionally with team members and families
Requirements
- DVM, VMD, or BVMS degree
- Valid driver’s license
