Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families across Cleveland, Shaker Heights, Lakewood, Parma, Garfield Heights, and North Olmstead, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to practice medicine without a waiting room, double-booked schedules, or corporate production dashboards—just you, a family who loves their pet, and the time to do it right.

We are a privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led veterinary practice that does not use non-compete contracts. Your career here is never held hostage by a contract clause, allowing you to build your professional life on your own terms.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets
Work independently in a mobile environment
Maintain rotational weekend availability
Lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
Exude compassion, dignity, and respect to all families and team members
Communicate professionally with families and the team

Requirements

DVM, VMD, or BVMS degree
Valid driver’s license
